I believe it is an article of faith to people in the Jewish community that conservatives are to be seen as anti-semitic even though it is essentially the opposite of the truth. And so they'll be liberal, or, at least, anti-conservative, based mostly on that blindly accepted belief, plus the vague awareness that, up until 50 years or so ago, the wealthiest country clubs and city clubs barred Jews, and they still carry an infantile chip on their shoulders about it. Oh -- and, of course, the more self-styled "intellectuals" among them congratulate themselves for having achieved the allegedly momentous insight that capitalism and altruism are ultimately incompatible, and instead of rejecting the altruism and collectivism, they reject the the capitalism and enlightened self-interest instead. AND they still believe all that "left-right" political spectrum crap that puts naziism and capitalism together instead of opposite each other (which they are).
They sound very confused. Liberalism will get Israel destroyed.
