I know there are many very good, hardworking Republicans in congress and they deserve more respect than they're getting. For instance, my congressman is Steve King and I know he wants all the Republican help he can get.
Sometimes we must hold our noses and vote for the better good. The way it is, we're going backward with no hope of ever advancing as long as we're fractured.

I think most Republicans in the House in the last Congress were still quite conservative. However, they ran into the problem of being associated with -- by party -- with the RINOs in the Senate that were passing amnesty year after year, with the RINO in the White House that was pushing amnesty and spending, and with the RINO presidential candidate was associated more with liberal policies that with conservative ones.
We will never win as long as we are infested with these types. The bad press they get affects every other Republican. Not to mention, many are at the top level in the party and do all they can to squash the Conservatives that are left.
if we could find a good conservative candidate, we should be in good standing to win back some seats and the White House because the economy will be even more damaged after Obama has implemented more socialist programs and more spending out of control. A real conservative message will appeal to most (or perhaps I'm giving too much credit to people's ability to use logic and think).
