An economic crisis is no time to play politics. The current stimulus plan reads more like a wish list of liberal program spending and wont stimulate anything but more government and more debt. More government and more debt is not a way to improve economic performance. It didnt work for Hoover and Roosevelt to pull the U.S. economy out of the Great Depression. More government spending did not solve Japans lost decade in the 1990s.
To improve the economy, please focus on reforms that remove impediments to work, saving, investment and production. Lower taxes and a reduction in the burden of government is the way to prosperity, not Big Government.
