Murtha and Kuchera Industries: Follow the Money
As I posted yesterday, The FBI raided a Pennsylvania defense contractor with strong ties to our very own Jihad Jack Murtha. What I didn't know was just how entwined our porcine earmark king was with the bigwigs at Kuchera Defense Systems:
Over the last several years, Murtha, a Democrat from Pennsylvania, has helped steer more than $100 million in contracts to Kuchera, a government contractor founded in 1985 by Bill Kuchera. The company and its employees have donated more than $65,000 dollars to Murthas re-election campaign and leadership PAC, according to Federal Election Commission records.
How many more times are the folks in PA-12 going to send this slime-laden, corrupt bloated dinosaur of a politician back to what should be a position of trust in Washington? How many times must he be caught with his fat, greasy fingers in the cookie jar before PA-12 voters finally get sufficiently disgusted to say, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH?!?"
Leo!!
Ping the regulars.....
Ha Ha !
Wouldn’t that be sweet justice if he has to share a cell with his Gitmo pals.
Not to worry.
President Odumbo is going to fire ALL current federal prosecutors and this investigation will come to a screeching halt.
October, 2006:Rep. John P. Murtha, D-Pa. (12th CD), issued the following press release: Rep. John Murtha announced today that Kuchera Defense Systems has been awarded five new multi-million dollar contracts from Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, the Air Force Research Lab and Coherent Systems International. The contracts, valued at approximately $7 million in the first year alone, will create 15 new jobs and sustain 28 current jobs for the Windber company. "These contracts involve new programs for Kuchera, which further diversifies their work load across various programs," Murtha said. "And what's particularly noteworthy is that some of the work will provide new levels of engineering and manufacturing ...
Yep.
Sounds like a Government program.
L
The way I’m thinking, Murtha should invite his jihadist Gitmo buddies over to his house... I mean, birds of a feather, and all that...
Yep...one that has Murtha’s grimy fingerprints all over it.
I think Murtha and his jihadist buddies should be put together. Of course if they did build a new federal prison in Fat Jack’s district it could accommodate Murtha, the jihadists and all the different corporate criminals like the ones at Kuchera Ind. They’d make one big happy family in the Murtha Federal Correctional Facility.
Wouldn’t that be sweet irony, to name a prison after Murtha and put him in it... I mean, everything else in PA-12 is named after him.
LOL!
That would be sweet!
LOL! Jaz, I like the way you think!
I’ll pay the airfare......
The story just hit American Thinker a little while ago....
Well, we all knew that Fat Jack was an SOB...
That is a great article. Sounds like he may be in it up to his eyebrows, hope he is and gets his comeuppance.
Not much chance he’ll die in prison like Boss Tweed, but there are a lot of similarities.
From one of the links in the article. This is interesting...
But Murtha has his defenders. "Jack Murtha is supportive of everything you can think of around here, from roads and sewers to defense contractors," said Bill Kuchera, chief executive of Kuchera Industries of Windber, Pa., and a PAID director. "But without Jack Murtha, there'd still be a Kuchera. We don't lean on Jack Murtha at all."
Murtha repeatedly intervened on behalf of PAID to help Kuchera expand.
After PAID's founding, Scialabba approached Kuchera to get involved. Kuchera jumped, not only joining the group's board but ramping up hiring of disabled workers, who now compose a third of the 200 employees in his company's defense business. The federal government picked up Kuchera's $7 million training bill. This year, Murtha earmarked $1.3 million for Kuchera's chemical and biological weapons detection research.
Kuchera employees donated more than $31,000 to Murtha in the past three election campaigns, according to federal election records. Between 1990 and 2000, contributions totaled $1,000.
BTW, I'll be preparing a place here for you and Mrs. Smooth when the terrorists are brought to your neighborhood.
