1. The Republican party initiated TARP and the prescription medication bill. They no longer represent the politics of smaller government.

2. The Republican party nominated John McCain as their POTUS candidate. They no longer represent the Constitution.

3. The Republican party just completed a seminar in which they agreed to work WITH Obama. They are no longer the party to fight the Democrats.

4. Prominant members of the Republican party have stated that we lost the election because we didn’t reach out enough. IOW - they feel that they need to be more like democrats. This is a losing strategy. They are no longer interested in winning elections.

Republican party = Seinfeld party.
They are the party of nothing.

The Republican party is going to have to move to the right, grow a spine and stand for the Constitution if they want me to vote blindly for them anymore. Having an (R) behind their name no longer represents automatic support. As far as “feeling alone”, well I felt that way when McCain wrapped up the nomination. There’s about six republican senators and maybe a dozen representatives and a few governors who have earned my respect...but its because of what they’ve done, not because of their party affiliation.
