While the oath deal will never get traction, I believe Roberts knew what he was doing. Obama just compounded the
Cluster**** by jumping the gun. It’s just sweet that the 2nd time was equally messed.
Obama’s been put on notice that doubts about his eligibility won’t go away. If the only result is that he must spend time thinking about this instead of concocting further socialist programs, then that’s just fine.

At this point, even if we had video evidence of his birth in Kenya, SCOTUS still wouldn't touch it. I don't think they have the courage to do so, and even if they did and ordered him out, it might be like a repeat of Chief Justice Marshall siding with the Indians in Worcester v. Georgia, with an enraged President Jackson asking the court how they were going to enforce their decision. The False Messiah would have his mobs out in force (of course, it'd be fun to watch the nice little civil war erupt - and he does so fancy himself a Lincoln).
