PRESS RELEASE: News Platoons Taking Internet by Storm Georgia News Platoon is Launched!
On Tuesday, January 20th the Georgia News Platoon will be joining four other state Platoon sites. The website, www.Georgia.NewsPlatoon.com, will work to promote local government transparency and accountability, provide a news platform for local activism networks, and aggregate the top news stories happening across the state.
Congressman Paul Broun (GA-10) states, "At a time when liberal leaders are doing their best to quiet conservatives by threatening to reinstitute the Fairness Doctrine, conservative internet media sites, such as the News Platoons, are a must. They are right to say that 'the 2008 presidential election didn't end the conservative movement. It rebooted it.' Now is the time for the Republican Party to return to its moorings of limited government, low taxes, and little intrusion into people's lives. I welcome the #dontgo Movement's new blog to Georgia."
State Representative Terry England (GA-108) also strongly supports the New Platoon sites, "I think it is very important in today's age of technology to provide a way of communication that is easy to use and effective in getting our conservative message out. The Georgia News Platoon will be a great way for us as policy makers to get real-time feedback on issues we are dealing with in the timeframe we are dealing with them.
The News Platoons are a product of the #dontgo Movement (www.dontgomovement.com) which uses web-based strategies and tactics to advance free-market values. Its mission is to develop a fifty state strategy of blogs and internet social networks that would activate more free market conservatives in their communities leading into the 2010 elections.
#dontgo was created by Eric Odom and Allen Fuller.

Maybe nobody told you, but we don’t actually require posting stories in triplicate here.
Different News Platoon
Politicians seeking to silence these alternative sources of information and to subjugate the American people through a single propaganda machine are determined to do so through the so-called "fairness doctrine" and by any other means available to them.
If they should succeed, would it be possible for uncensored radio to broadcast from outside the United States?
Are any of these announcement going to have a working link?
A web site that doesn’t work, not a very good beginning. Don’t be surprised if no one pays attention to this and your other nonsense press releases.
I poked around a little and found this:
http://newsplatoon.com/state-news-platoon-directory/
The Tennessee News Platoon seems to be up and running.
http://tennessee.newsplatoon.com
I think the original poster should have included the main News Platoon website, too.
Obviously you are either vastly confused or perhaps didn’t take the time to read the release. If you had, you would have seen the link: www.Georgia.NewsPlatoon.com, which does in fact work.
Cordially,
Juliana Johnson
In the release, there is a link: www.Georgia.NewsPlatoon.com, which does in fact work.

Why didn’t you use that instead of
???
When posting, we are supposed to use a
Source URL A web link to the original article
The original article was not posted on the News Platoon site- only on the national press page. Is this really that big of a deal to you?
And you are using this forum to run some kind of a half baked publicity firm.
