The Dalai Lama based on interviews sounds like a rightwing libertarian based on his views on the right to self-defense. That alone is a no-no in lib circles where appeasing the enemy is the golden rule.
I think he’s one of those “liberals” who got mobbed by reality when his country was invaded and he was sentenced to exile!
