We had a pet duck one time,,, and I know, they crap all over the place..... that is why my mom had to send the duck off to a duck farm.
When I was a kid, our neighbors across the street (also kids) had a pet duck. We thought "Duffy" was a lot of fun at first, but what a mess he made of that 1/4 acre yard... it was incredible! White feathers and duck crap everywhere. And ducks BITE, too. He didn't like to be constantly harassed by kids (can't say I blame him).
Duffy went off to a lake or some duck farm as well, last I heard of him... ;-)
