That only works when the people attacking have at least a modicum of manners and/or conscience.
The leftist game plan is to talk constantly, talk over, and interrupt Conservative guests until the clock runs out.
Then their leftist media cohorts can publish things like: "She was so confused, she couldn't come up with a response!", or "She had no answers to the very simple questions posed to her!", yada, yada, yada.
Ann knows their tricks, and that's why she doesn't just remain silent, but instead fires right back.
She thus provides ammunition for her fans, and more fodder for her next book about how rude, crude, ill-mannered, and ignorant leftist really are.
The days of Conservative guests "playing nice" with the leftist hosts is long past, IMO.
