Come on, this stuff is embarrassing. Like it or not, Barack Obama was elected by the American people. Chief Justice Roberts obviously will and should swear him in. I think the Bush v. Gore situation set an unfortunate precendent for trying to somehow nullify the outcome of the election because your guy didn’t win. As Crash Davis once said: Sometimes you win; sometimes you lose; sometimes it rains.

Would you make this same argument if Castro, Chavez or Ahmadinijad had been democratically elected president?

If Muslim immigrants managed to make Bin Laden the electoral winner, would you make this same defense?
