The reporter wasn’t even confrontational...

He was being passively confrontational. I'm sure he knew he was playing with fire.

Actually, he wasn’t being confrontational. He was asking a question which, if honestly answered, would have cornered the terrorist supporter and the the terrorist supporter knew it. Rather than answering the question, he ended the exchange by the only thing his violent nature knows....violence.

I think that every city should ban both sides of this conflict from airing their views/support on our streets. This is soooo asking for trouble.

You’d be right: I’ve seen reporters do it. They love it when someone attacks the camera or attacks the reporter: it adds color and credibility to their story and almost guarantees it won’t get left on the cutting room floor.
