I’d love to see a reporter stand up at one of his press conferences and simply ask:

“Where were you born? What hospital? Will you give immediate approval so we can confirm this through third party official state, municipal, hospital and other governmental agencies?”

ME TOO, but none of them will because they do not want to get kicked out of the audience forever. Besides, Obama would just act like he did’nt hear him or her. And no one has that much guts, plain and simple.

I can tell you what his immediate response will be: ‘Uh, those issues are of a Constitutional nature, er, are, um, they, er are items involved in um several court cases, so, er uh it would be inappropriate for me, er [Axelrod screaming in the hideden earpiece to shut the hell up] ... at this time I am restrained from answering those questions because of litigation. Um, next question?

That reporter might as well retire from the press pool, as he'd never get any information after that. Maybe Helen Thomas should ask it on her way off the public stage.

I agree! I wish you were in the media. We’ll have to wait for the courts to enforce the Constitution.

And this is what is wrong with our society. NO ONE WILL. NO ONE WOULD DARE. Yet if Barbara Bush had been running around naked over various continents when George was born, EVERY reporter would have peppered Bush with questions about his birth circumstances every single day until he was all but forced to answer.

Wouldn’t that be great? They should at least ask Obama why, since John McCain immediately produced his birth certificate in response to similar questions, Obama will not do the same. Clearly, the digitized image of a document which Obama’s campaign posted on a friendly web site and e-mailed to clueless reporters does not prove anything.

SCOTUS: Stop playing cards in your chambers and get to work. There is an important constitutional question before you!
