What is Your Wish for the New Year?

After watching the replays of the New Year on Fox News, with Bill and Hillary dancing as the new year rolled in, I contemplated how John Lennon finally got his wish for a (near)religion-free world (at least in New York City)-- only 28 years after his death. My question to you this morning, dear freepers, is what is your fondest wish for 2009? Doesn't matter how impossible it is. It can be personal or political. My personal is to find good work -- and my political is that I wish to see Patrick Fitzgerald indict Barack Obama. What is yours?

I suspect Patrick Fitzgerald will be looking for another job in late January. Democrats, unlike Republicans, clean house and get rid of all the opposition theycan reăch in the government as soon as they come into office. The reslt is that the permanent government, those protected by Civil Service, are overwhelmingly Democrat and socialist oriented while the appointed layer gets kicked out wholesale when a Democrats becomes president. Republicans don't do that. Republican presidents thus are pressed by a constant opposition from the bureaucracy and don't even get a whole lot of help from the second (non civil service) levels because they don't replace them.

My wish, and prayer, is that my judgement this year was 100% wrong and Barack 0bama does not permanently harm the United States of America.
