“What is it with these freepers who want to jump down the throats of the tenacious in trying to investigate every cranny? So damn what?”

Many of us value this site for clear thinking and dealing with facts. We don’t want our movement to become a parody, and we don’t want to be seen as chasing after rumors and urban legends.

It’s fine to chase after things, but when certain news sources are constantly shown to be full of hot air, then they should not be looked to.

Point is, we don’t have enough information at this point to know WHAT we’re dealing with. I think I said in my very first post here, “we’ll see what Friday brings”...and then we’ll make a judgement.

I’m not cheerleading this, just continuing the dialogue and following the trail where it leads, the many dead-ends included.

Is that not legitimate?

Form over substance. Who cares how we are seen? I care about the truth, and the Constitution, small government except for a second to none military.

You'd not make much of an intelligence analyst, who use *all* available information, weighted by reliability of the source and confirmation from other sources. But never just thrown out, because it might make the analyst look foolish. Missing the key piece of information, now that really makes them look foolish, and may get a lot of people dead.
