Israelis and Arabs shooting at each other aren’t going to stop it to hear vapid blathering about Hope and Change.

We have elected a wimp who cannot make a decision or take sides.
Libs do not know that there is a difference between good and evil.
That is why they cannot refuse abortions and wish the death penalty to be outlawed.

Well, why wasn’t it wrong to negotiate war terms with Iraq prior to the election? Or to make a foreign policy speech in Germany? Or to threaten Pakistan with bombardment in search of Bin Laden? Or to tell Israel how to run its conflicts? Oh, those were imminent threats where he might actually have to act on his statements instead of being able to dismiss as campaign rhetoric. He has had no compunction against meddling in foreign affairs where he can safely retreat if necessary. Now that the peddle hits the metal, he is mute.

Meant to say those times were NOT imminent threats as opposed to this one. Take a break for the holidays and the brain turns to mush.

Because, after all, he wouldn’t do anything to interfere with the current Commander in Chief — like speak out against Iraq and meet with their officials to delay the troops’ returning home, for example.

Set a record for abstaining by voting “Present” 130 times in the Illinois Senate, didn’t he? ‘Bammy will vote “Present” every time he thinks he can get away with it.

His silence is deafening.
A simple vote of confidence would do wonders. I am afraid to see his actions when he can no longer hide behind Pres. Bush.

“David Axelrod, one of Obamas top advisors, repeated during a series of interviews that it would be wrong for the president-elect to make position statements regarding the situation in Gaza while President George W. Bush is still in office.”
Never stopped him before.
To: zeebee
guess that podium of the “office of the president
elect” really is just a prop, meant for posing
magnanimously behind, dispensing wizened gestures
and enthralling the lucky chosen few with soaring
empty rhetoric of the coming hope and change.
but it is very pretty.

That queasy feeling I've had in the pit of my stomach since 11/4 has turned into full-blown indigestion. This guy has been the worst President-elect since Billyboy Clintoon announced he was canceling the "Middle Class Tax Cut" in December 1992.
I tremble for my nation.
