The Congress would never impeach him no matter what.

Oh yes they would. They would have no choice. If they didn’t there would be a 2nd revolution and nobody wants that

“Oh yes they would.”

And just like Bill Clinton he will be voted not guilty. Then he will get a big bump in the polls and the Republicans and Conservatives will suffer a beating for years.

The press and dems will pronounce him King for life.

"If they didn’t there would be a 2nd revolution and nobody wants that"

A coup demands the people react/take action.

We really want to be a nation of law(s) and have desperately attempted to abide by law.

The Gregoire (D) theft is just another example of the fascist/socialist tactics coming around and biting themselves in the ass.

So are you saying that it's okay for him to take office before he proves he is a natural-born citiizen? Shouldn't the 2nd revolution occur before he is inaugurated if he doesn't show he is qualifieid to hold office?

It's his responsibility to come up with proof -- not our responsibility to dig up his birth certificate. All he has to do is show it. Why burden the people with what might be an impossible task when it falls to the candidate to prove himself/herself worthy of office?

I disagree with you here. If, after Jan. 20th, Obama is proven to not be a “natural born citizen” by whatever procedure, do you really think Pelosi, Franks, Reid, Clinton (her memories of Bill's impeachment haven't faded), Kennedy, et al would allow/bring charges of impeachment against him? They would excuse it away or “the next time we do something” or some other lame excuse, and nobody would challenge them.

I don’t think an impeachment would be necessary. The man would NOT be President, for the reason that no one, not Congress and not the electorate could ever make him President, and therefore Congress would not need to act as if he were the President, neither de jure or de facto.

All that would be required is for the Federal marshalls, acting under court order, to evict him from the premeses without fanfare or ado.

Just set the SOB in the street.

People are sometimes forces to do exactly what they do not what to do. Human history is full of examples. If Zero were proven ineligible Congress would have to act it could not be ignored.
