I never could understand how legally Rezko and 0bama could get away with that deal. You don’t just decide to sell part of your property. That’s all part of the deed. I remember years ago my dad inherited my grandfather’s house and he wanted to let my cousin and his wife, who were newly weds, live in it, and just cover the taxes. The city told my dad that he had to charge them rent, and it had to be the going rate. So, I don’t see how this was legal at all.
