I just called Congressman Linder’s office. The woman I spoke with, Sarah, said that he is considering the option of standing on Jan 8 and requesting proof. It’s not a for sure thing. He is keeping his eye on the issue and is hopeful that it will be resolved before Jan 8. She said that a written objection has to be made AND that written objection has to be signed onto by a senator.
God bless Linder and God bless America!
pinging pissant because he/she is all over this issue and I thank him/her for it. I’ve been tracking this issue and am grateful for your input.
~~Ping #15 .. thank you, via.
And the timing is interesting since the SCOTUS has placed Berg’s case on conference for January 9th!
I would hope that Senator Chambliss could stand with him after the fight he had to put up with from the O’s supporters in his recent re-election. I like the idea of two folks from Georgia objecting!
I’ll be shocked if Linder does what he says.
Back in ‘98, I worked for a nursing home and the owners took money out of our checks for health insurance and left us hanging. They never even set up insurance. NOW those crooks are doing Fed. time in the pen, but I got jabbed with serious bills....the birth of our last child among others.
I requested assitance from the insurance commish, John Oxendine, John Linder, Paul Coverdale, several others...and Linder sent me a letter back lecturing me about medicare!
I’m wholly UNimpressed with the man.
The ONLY one I was impressed with was Barbara Bunn (R), not because of the help I got, but because of her honesty....she said she could not help because:
“I’m in bed with the insurance companies!”
Literally her words, verbatim.
The crooks filed bankruptcy and I never saw a dime...but the lawyers in NY got alot richer.
