NO, NO, you can’t do that. The stores won’t make any money.
Maybe we Christians should call for a moratorium next Christmas and refuse to shop. THAT would wake the stores up.
We could MAKE things to give each other, save money that way, too. Homemade baked goodies, quilts, spaghetti sauce, whatever anyone knows how to make. Hmmm...I could use a new birdhouse, wonder which of my friends or relatives loves to make such things. The list is endless. The hard part would be to tell the kids NO ELECTRONICS for Christmas, but they can wait for their birthdays.
