And being an apathetic defeatist is what you are right now and what Nehemiah and others in history overcame to accomplish great things for their people.
"I'd have given up unless I had believed to see the goodness of God in the land of the living." [Psalm 27:3]
Do you believe that ???
You said — “And being an apathetic defeatist is what you are right now and what Nehemiah and others in history overcame to accomplish great things for their people.”

Okay, let’s use Nehemiah as an object example, in light of this Obama “qualification” to be President of the United States.
If I were to “apply” Nehemiah and his building of the walls of Jerusalem, to the present situation — it would be to not wring one’s hands about the state of affairs of the Constitution and worry about whether Obama is going to be President or not...
I would “build the walls” and continue doing what is needed for the correct application of the Constitution — from here on out — and forget about Obama.
Nehemiah wasn’t trying to close the barn door after the horse got out. He was building the walls so that Jerusalem would be protected *in the future* — after the walls were built.
SO..., in light of that application — the Obama horse has already gotten out of the barn. The Constitution is not dead, and it needs to be “reinforced” with some “wall-building” so we don’t let the “evil-doers” win like this in the future...
Now, that’s what I call a much more *productive* application...

The Constitution is not dead... “Build the walls” (of the Constitution); forget the horse that got out of the barn.
