I don’t know about this website. “Semi news, semi satire” is kind of a dodge really. Either write good satire, or report the news, but this mix is neither funny nor true. So what’s the point?
Sad to say, we live in such a mixed up world that even when one intentionally creates totally absurd satire - especially when it’s about Democrats or Jihaddis - ...it sounds so incredibly plausible.
