What kind of publisher gives an unknown a book deal to write TWO autobiographies before he’s done anything? And the Grammys awarded him “best spoken word” recording for his book on tape (that category has been a liberal pat on the back for over 15 years).

“2. The very first (oldest) entry for Soros’ contributions is to John McCain in 1999.”

Not true. Soros has made contributions at least starting in the late 1970s when campaign finance reporting started, including a donation to one George H.W. Bush. His contibution to McCain signified the same thing as his to Bush - an attempt to thwart Reagan in 1980 and George W. Bush in 2000 in the GOP primaries. Nothing more.

We needn’t delude ourselves that he wanted either G.H.W. Bush or John McCain as President. He didn’t.
