I guess if I have to shoot an intruder on my property I will have to fork over 5 cents for each round I plant into him. I wonder if I would have to pay that 5 cent tax if I request the slugs back after the autopsy? After all it would have just been a short term loan.

0bama gave his word that gun owners have nothing to worry about. Besides, we won’t need guns or ammo when we have a civilian national security force. They will keep us safe./s

...and all 12 gauge shotguns. How many bbs are in bird shot? Its going to be expensive to have every little one stamped with a serial number.

These proposals (if true) are comedy gold. It’s like having blind people develop the traffic code.

We are getting closer and closer to the 21st Century’s Lexington and Concord. The leftist scum who dominate government are convinced the American people are just sheep — and they are correct regarding at least half of them. But they will find that there are a good number of patriots who still love the United States and revere the Constitution, and who will not “go gently into that good night.”

"In all but one of the bills, people would be required to forfeit all personally owned non-"encoded" ammunition. After a certain date, it would be illegal to possess non-"encoded" ammunition. Reloading would be rendered illegal."
There's a couple of problems right there. Of course it's only a problem for those with or without existing ammo supplies.

Nothing more then the Socuialist end run around the US Constitution.
Total Government control of everything you do and say is on the way folks.
They are afraid of you and want to disarm you.
Once they take your weapons away it is so much easier and safer for them to take your voice away.

I would love to be a part of a crowd that took thousands of printed copies of the proposed regulations and dumped them into a harbor....a sort anti legilation tea party if you will...

I wonder how many gun owners here on FR bash those who support the COLB iissue but will want the COLB surpporters to fight this issue concerning the 2nd.
Couldn’t they also reply that a suit against this law would go no where?
I am BTW pro 2nd.

They had their revolution long before it got to this point. They wouldn’t recognize their own country.
