I do think it would make a difference. A lot of movements are driven by very compelling men and women. It is not unusual for those movements to die when the person driving it are gone. I would hope that would be the case with Soros.

I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy nut, but it’s hard not to think that things in these times are being manipulated for a purpose.

Don't apologize for being a bit conspiracy-minded. Some conspiracy theories are nutty, this one isn't--heck, its far enough out into the open that it barely qualifies as a conspiracy.

Soros is a major player, to be sure, but he's not the only one by far. A lot of people have been planning this, working on it, and openly writing about it for decades, possibly centuries.

Shalom, and remember the One who is really in charge, no matter what the elites think!
