From the man who SHOULD be president-elect.

Hear, hear x1000. Although, it seems too many "converatives" are afraid of doing what's right.

Ron Paul stood about the same chance as Duncan Hunter.....

Either way I think that this election was a loser for our side and the drive-by media was going to see to it.

In the movies the guy everyone says is a crazy nut ends up being right, and everyone should have listened.

I’ve pretty much decided Ron Paul is that crazy nut movie guy.

Paul did not drink the foreign trade and war involvement hemlock. Don’t you wish all GOP candidates didn’t.

Give me a break, my cleaning lady says the same thing. So Ron Paul says the same thing at least one third of the country is saying and we’re supposed to overlook the fact that he’s crazy.

It’s been happening for awhile thanks to the the GOP incrementally merging its ideology with the socialist Democrats to expand the former’s voter base.

Perot and his “gaint sucking sound” was right but it took awhile.

No, but Hunter should be president.

But he couldn’t get the time of day from anyone. So we got McCain, faithless and weak, and that gave us Obama.

So here we are.

I voted for him. McLame, Guiliani, Mitt, Huckabee...all paled in their knowledge and practice of the Constitution. He’s a nut in some ways, but which president hasn’t been?

"No, but Hunter should be president."

Hunter could not raise enough of what groups with money call 'free speech'.

Ron Paul made the same mistake as every other independent, putting ego ahead of ideas. If any of them cared more about their ideas, they would know that they run for president last, not first.

It’s really simple. Get together a cadre of people who are strong believers in your ideas. Prep the heck out of them, then run them for congress in weak seats held by both Democrats and Republicans.

The most important thing that can be done is for them to KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid), and all swear loyalty to a Contract With America-style agreement. 10 things they will always, always support, no matter what. The public loves both clarity and determination.

Because if even only 1 dozen, 12 of them can get elected to congress, you win. No matter what the Republicans and Democrats want, they have to wheel and deal for your votes, to win *anything*. Your dozen are the swing vote for most votes.

This means that your ideas become policy.

But their egos, enormous, bulging, and utterly demanding, won’t permit it. So they lose, every time, and their ideas never even get considered.
