With all of the "fun" that was happening yesterday, I had a few questions to bring to the general public. First of all, I was wondering who could be "Candidate #5" named in the indictment? Could it be one of the people that I was asked about on the day after the election poll to fill Obama's seat? My feeling is that it is probably Emil Jones, Jesse Jackson JR or most likely Jan Schakowsky. Either way, they will probably be indicted and if it is JJR or JS, then we will have another open seat to fill. Maybe we could fill it during a special election?

2010 can’t come fast enough.
No. Get him away from there.
My bet's on Valerie Jarrett. She's the Obama associate who suddenly pulled her name out of contention on November 13th.
She is known to be candidate #1.
They are pretty sure that #5 is Jesse Jackson Jr. Blago says #5 talks big but doesn’t pay up.
I stand corrected. Too much information overload from yesterday...
“My bet’s on Valerie Jarrett. She’s the Obama associate who suddenly pulled her name out of contention on November 13th.”
No, it wasn’t her. She was Candidate #1. She pulled out rather than go along w/Blago’s attempts to extort a position or money out of her nomination. That is why Blago cursed out Obama as only wanting to show appreciation but no favors. It says so in the complaint, and refers to Candidate #1 as a female, a “her” who was backed by Obama. My guess is it could very well be JJJ.
So, how much is the governor gonna talk to get himself out of a tight spot?
I knew she'd pulled out on November 13th. But I hadn't seen that part of the complaint that names candidate #1 as a female backed by Obama. There was speculation yesterday that her backing out may have been precipitated by the Obama camp learning of the wiretaps while negotiations were ongoing, causing me to believe she may have been candidate #5. There was too much information overload yesterday...
Bad timing for Jesse Jackson Jr.
From Dec 8th:
Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. touts Senate credentials to Blagojevich
Following a 90-minute audition meeting today with Gov. Rod Blagojevich, Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. said he was confident in the process the governor is using to make his choice for a Senate successor to President-elect Barack Obama.

WLSAM newsman Bill Cameron had talked with JJR father, the Rev. JJ the day before all this went down. Cameron asked the Rev. what he thought the possibility was in having JR. fill the seat.
Rev. answer was, “No comment.”
Think about it. Rev. with nothing to say.
0bama’s people most likely pulled out because they got a warning of the Fed investigation by the 0bama transition team at Justice.
A special election for Obama’s seat would be a godsend. Let it be so!
My bets on Valerie Jarrett. Shes the Obama associate who suddenly pulled her name out of contention on November 13th.

Bingo! I was right. Candidate #5 is JJJ (Jesse Jackson Jr.). I smelled it as I knew he wanted the position so desperately that he would pay a bribe to get it. He’s a chip off the old Rat Dad’s block. The acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree. A DemRat is a DemRat is a DemRat.
Jesse is now in deep doodoo, hahahahahahahahah!!!!!!! He’ll never be Senator after this fiasco and he knows it. He just has to hope he doesn’t end up in the klink next to Blago and George Ryan. Hahahahahahahahahahhah! This made my day.
There’s supposed to be a press conference around 4:15 eastern with Triple J and his attorney. I don’t know if they met with Fitzgerald yet or not. CNN is supposed to carry it, maybe Fox. My bet is it’ll be enough denial to rival that river in Egypt.
My new guess is JR Pritzker is # 6.
