My husband and I have been chopping firewood for, I swear 16 months straight, stocking our wood pile. We have a load of camping gear (pots, pans and the like) to use over our fireplace if need be.
Also have a reliable generator that’s tested had it mettle tested a few times.
Everytime we have a family member ask us what do we want for Christmas, we say ammo. Don’t even bother will menial gifts.
Hubby got 3 doe over the weekend. Getting those processed and leaving them in the freezer.
A country boy (or girl) can survive.
Texans can live on deer & feral hog...abundance of each.
