I don’t think he was calling for a purge of any forum members to be honest.
I think he feels that this avenue of attack - the whole Obama citizenry challenge - is futile and counter productive to conservative objectives.

That’s my take. He’s trying to prevent a purge of those who think this is a dead end. The SCOTUS ruled on this approach. It’s DOA going forward. Obama is a legitimate American citizen. If SCOTUS says so, that makes him so!
Let’s direct our substantial Free Republic forum energy elsewhere. This forum is an amazing resource of smart, dedicated conservatives. It’s uniquely powerful. It really is. I’ve never seen a community with so much engagement and knowledge. But, there’s a pall of post-election bitterness and resentment that I trust will lift from here. Understandable.
I’m optimistic about our prospects when I visit here. Sometimes you just feel that there’s nobody around anymore who honors our uniquely successful cultural heritage and American blessing from God. People here do! All good.
