That all makes sense. So why does Obama put up a forged certificate and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to hide a $10.00 piece of paper and refuse to release any corroborating evidence to his citizenship status when a small, but vocal group of people keep spreading the information that he is not a legitimate president?

Now THAT is the $64,000 question. I mean, there seems to be so much to logically militate AGAINST this whole birth certificate question, not least of which is the fact that he obviously had a birth certificate to be able to get the passports he travelled overseas on in the past. So why doesn't he just release the thing and be done with it, and put all this to bed?

I don't know. I wonder if it might be something as simple and stupid as, well, it was lost somehow.

Can you get a passport if you were born in another country to an American mother? You would have some sort of birth certificate. I don’t know the answer, but I don’t think the argument is that he’s not an American Citizen.
