When Islam arrived in India, it did so in the form of butchering invaders. The Hindus did not have open arms; other than the arms of war. There were wars fought for hundreds of years. The Muslims were ferocious butchers and the looted, slaughtered, raped and pillaged their way through India and beyond. The only reason there are any Muslims at all east of Saudi Arabia is due to forced conversions of Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, Christians, Jains, animists and others.
