My mom gets me the worst gifts. She gets everyone else good ones, but not me.

Mine too. Do you also find it impossible to bring yourself to tell her? Mine gets me beef jerky every year. Jerky. For Christmas. I mean, I like jerky once in a while, but come on! Ah well, at least she usually gets me fuzzy socks or something to go with it.

My MIL does the same thing to my brother in-law!! Every single year she buys him black dress pants.

He works for the public works department of his town. He probably dresses up once a year for either a wedding or a funeral and that’s it.
