They cannot compete with us or even co-exist with us because their culture is fundamentally flawed — Islam has not yet undergone a Reformation that includes a realization that finite beings cannot presume to know the will of the Infinite, much less act on the Almighty’s behalf.
Those who do so commit the most egregious of blasphemies in mere thought and great evil in action.
This is not an aberration, it is Islam’s very nature until a Reformation comes. Appeasement only diminishes that (remote) possibility.

is there a complete detailed and factual time line story about this attack out yet. So far all I’ve seen are snipets, conjectures, journalist self-promotion and confused reports.
I had to learn to “compartmentalize” bumper stickers and soft-headed, liberal notions not so long ago ~ really just after the attacks on 9/11. I had switched from libertarian to conservative several years before, but there was always a strain of what I felt to be “compassion” and desire for dialog and understanding, even when I strongly opposed the world views of those whom I disagreed with.
It was really just a phony sense of nobility and elitism; of pretending to be “big enough” to accept the opinions of individuals with whom I did not agree, as though “two sides to every story” could be borne out to mean that there were more than one correct way to view injustice.
That is actually intellectually lazy, naive and immature.
There is really no logic to such a mindset, therefore if and when you might attempt to place such ideas in a rational construct it can never really be done. So, I no longer attempt it any more. I will speak with individuals about such topics, one to one. I don't become angry or animated or emotional, as I used to do, but instead simply try to approach such dialog with reason and logic. At times that can be difficult.
I'm not morbidly curious, but I wonder if a description of what was done to these people will ever come out? I wonder if it would do anything to move the hearts and minds of those who simply pass this by as just another tragedy of the day?
