CNN covered up reports of abuse and torture under Saddam Hussein’s Iraq to keep their Baghdad Bureau in the 1990s.
They are a treasonous news organization. They choose to hold some news stories and run with others. Even when lives are at stake.

Excellent point - friends/family of mine were among those who were attacked in Mumbai. I refrained from writing about them until I was sure they were rescued/safe 3 days later.
Do you think that would make an iota of a difference to the terrorists looking for Westerners to kill?

I remember watching tne hostage situation at the 1972 Munich Olympics. All the news networks showed the SWAT team on the roof of the Olympic Village. Black September was watching it too.
If I ever find myself in the middle of a shootout... God help any news crew on scene.
