The word of two gov't peons amounts to precisely jack.
Especially when they did not attest to what the document contains, only that it exists.
Oh, they are infallible.
Remember Joe the Plumber?
He said that he had seen it and could vouch for its authenticity, but reading his words carefully gave absolutely no information on what the certificate contained.
He most carefully did not say that Obama was born in Hawaii on such and such a date, even though that was the most obvious question on everyone’s mind.
Certainly Obama would not have objected to that statement — if it had been true. But he didn’t say it.
As a result, I find the Registrar’s statement to be anything BUT a “case closed.”
Until the actual document is released, the questions are going to keep coming.
