What was provided was a carefully worded statement that they had obama's birth certificate on file. They did not say what was in it. The reason this causes suspicion was that at the time in Hawaii a person could be born in a foreign country and register a birth certificate in Hawaii. That would help explain why obama has spent 800,000 to avoid releasing a $10 birth certificate and the statement of Obama's Kenyan family and various Kenyans.

Well, on Friday, the Director of Hawaii's Department of Health, Dr. Chimoye Fukino, finally got tired of listening to ridiculous chorus coming from McCain/Palin supporters and he went to personally inspect the original birth certificate.
Fukino said she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama's original birth certificate.
"Therefore, I as Director for the State of Hawai'i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai'i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama's original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures, Fukino said.
Fukino said that no state official, including Gov. Linda Lingle, ever instructed that Obama's certificate be handled differently from any other.

Hawaii most certainly DID NOT. The State of Hawaii only verified that his BC is “on file”

Since Hawaii allowed those not born in Hawaii in 1961 to receive a certificate of Live Birth, there is no way to know where on earth the man born. The fact that his camp bothered to forge a BC and put it online speaks volumes.
