how did she break her jaw? was she on one of those medications to prevent osteoporosis? I know that they carry the risk of jaw bone problems. Ann is so skinny that she may well have this problem though she is pretty young.

No use speculating on what caused the break, underlying conditions, or what meds she may be taking. Only thing for sure is that she'll be 47 in a couple of weeks.
