It is a perfectly acceptable topic of discussion, and the approach to it was reasonable.
I find that people who lack the intellectual capability to make a logical argument about an issue usually resort to calling others who disagree with them “bots” and end their posts by saying “period” or “case closed” as if that is all the logic they need to make their point.
