New York, Nov.25 : Alaska Governor and Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin is now being feted by conservatives across the country for inspiring millions of Americans to fight for common sense and conservative principles.

According to CBS, a conservative political action committee will begin running ads in Alaska and on national television this week honoring Palin.

Timed for Thanksgiving, the ads (there are two 60-second versions and two 30-second ones) feature the PAC's officials thanking Palin for her candidacy.

"Governor Palin inspired millions of Americans by fighting for common sense conservative principles in a positive and uplifting manner," said Sal Russo, chief strategist of the PAC in a release announcing the ads.

"I worked with President Ronald Reagan since his first days in the California Governor's Office, and I can tell you that I see so many similarities between President Reagan and Governor Palin. Palin inspires such passion among Americans because she speaks to them in a straightforward and sincere way without the parsed statements and duplicity of typical Washington insiders and bureaucrats."

The picture of Gov. Palin chosen to be on the opening page if either google or yahoo recently must have been taken by a camera on the floor. It made this beautiful woman look like she had a huge jaw and chin. The left will stop at nothing to denigrate her. I am glad for these ads.

They won’t ever stop, even if she goes on those shows. The best chance to stop it is to hit them in the wallet, by contacting the companies that advertise on those shows and telling them we won’t use their products anymore. I still do not understand why these idiots are happy alienating 50% of their potential audience. I used to watch Leno, Letterman and Conan in my younger years but had to stop because I couldn’t stand being made a fool of, meaning, seeing all of my beliefs, especially my politics being ridiculed night after night.

As I have posted in various threads here, we need to hit the advertisers on every show that is unfair.

That's a hard one to swallow considering the person she was willing to sign on with was anything but conservative.

This is a waste of conservatives’ money, a clear bid by cynical consultants to cash in on people’s sense of how unfairly Palin was treated. I hope no one gives to it.

If the Clintons could campaign for eight+ years straight, why can’t we conservatives do the same? We should get our message out, educating the voters, via radio and TV ads, and they really should be EDUCATIONAL in nature. That’s how we’ll build our voter base again, not just picking an attractive, charismatic representative. That simply gives the MSM an easy target to attack over and demonize, and in four years, she (Sarah Palin) will just be old news with every tiny misstep magnified by the MSM. We need fresh leadership out front and center combined with an educational, uplifting message defining conservatism.

I don’t know if I necessarily agree with that. She would completely charm both Letterman and Leno. Notice how much easier SNL has gone on her since she appeared on the show. Tina Fey still does her, but it’s not at all caustic like it was before she was on the show.

With Letterman, that’s the pattern. She will have him eating out of her hand.
