Free Republic has a Twitter feed. So do a ton of politicians, like Sen. Jim DeMint and Eric Cantor.

I never thought #dontgo was that effective, nor that informative. The problem is it just sat there for most of the time, with little or no updating. And then the lefties took over ... And I left for more interesting places.

As a support for triggering interest in another site twitter might be better. Say if Michelle Malkin put up a post, a short summary stab to twitter would alert people.

I think Michelle Malkin’s blog is much better for political information and updates.

Twitter is designed as an activity log ....
