I am too new to FR to know about pings. Can someone do it?

Pinging someone is very simple, just enter their screen name into the “to:” field. For multiple screen names, put a semicolon between each screen name you enter into the “to:” field. To create a ping list, state your intention to do so on an appropriate FR thread, and add screen names as requests to be included come in, then when you post a thread that you think will be appropriate and of interest, you ping them via the process outlined above. You can also ping the list to a comment on a thread. You can keep the list in a variety of places, in a folder on your computer, or some even keep the list as text on their FR home page.
