I thought myself fairly lucky to have survived the 70’s’s (Global Cooling-death by glacier); settled science at the time as I recall by all DBM accounts. Then I had to contend with Global Warming (death by sauna); more settled science. Then came the ever confusing ‘Climate Change’ clamor (death by God knows what) with even more settled science. And now we’re back to Global Cooling.

I wish these geniuses would make-up my mind already…

My grandson, 5 years old, is in a preschool class. The teacher and the school require that when the students print their letters they are required to end them with a loop.
When the teacher send a note or some required information home, surprise, surprise there are no loops on any printed letters.while I my show my age, when my twin girls were in a grade, with one I don’t remember, the “in” thing then was “New Math” which had to do with tens. Bottom line was that if they were required to add 50 plus 30 it took and entire side of an 8.5 X 11 sheet of tablet paper. It only lasted 1 year never to be heard of again.
