"I'm neither a Hollywood person, nor am I part of the GOP establishment, yet I am very turned off by Sarah Palin."

Why? is it a sexual thing?

"And it's not just me. My opinion of her is shared by many college-educated upper-middle-class who normally vote Republican, without whom our party cannot win."

Clearly we did not win with them in 2008.

"Finally, I see little evidence that she's actually a conservative on any issue other than guns, energy and abortion."

Definitely those issues do not qualify someone as a so called "conservative." I am trying to think of some Liberals who are in accord with Governor Palin on those matters.

"Her record as mayor and the governor is most certainly not one of the fiscal conservative."

One might supposes that coming down on corrupt politicians is a certain sign of an unfiscal conservative.

"So why do you like her so much?

I think that I like her even more now because of your ideas about why you do not like her.

I realize that you said more than what I quoted above, and that you were posting to someone else, but I really was unimpressed by your post in it's entirety.

I personally found Sarah Palin to be very appealing. She is warm, funny, clearly not a BS artist a la John McCain with his insulting straight talk express hypocritical nonsense. You know that John McCain that won the primaries because Democrat crossovers got into the mix. John McCain who was stained by so much more than his habitual practice of kissing the asses of his adversaries in the world's most exclusive club.

John McClain was as bad a candidate as Bob Dole was in 1996, and it will not be soon enough for him to drop out of sight to his "good life" that he spoke about just before getting his butt kicked earlier this month. At least McCain brought Sarah Palin to our attention. Thanks for that, and thanks also for the next 4 years of Obamanation.

Sarah Palin is the most exciting Republican to show up in a long while. I think that you are out of touch.

Sorry to hear about your hand...while you’re recuperating, try to remember that it’s easier to type “speech” correctly twice than it is to spell it incorrectly twice. Best, C
