The unease I already feel is now at defcon3, and it's not made any less anxious by Rahm Emanuel .. chief of staff to be, author of "The Plan," outlining mandatory civil service for 18-25 yr olds.

I used to teach history; I also grew up in Germany (postwar). The formula is certainly in place for the US to become a 1930’s Germany except for nationalism. Obama seems to have internationalist tendencies (which may be worse).

There is one big difference....
Germany didn’t start out with a constitution and a nation which declared itself a nation of God.
God will bring us back from this, because our founding fathers had the foresight to forge this nation under His wing.
I do understand the feeling though... it is something in your gut that tells you something VERY big is about to happen that nobody anticipated.
Biden was right... Read Ezekiel chapter 38.

The author is not wrong. It is EXACTLY like Germany.
What really, really boggles my mind are the elderly and Jewish people of all ages voting for 0. Not just elderly, but Christian elderly. What WERE they thinking? Many of them grew up during WWII, didn’t they hear their parents talking? Didn’t they pay attention? I can understand black people voting for him and wish I could be more happy for them, but they all chose a monster.
How could Obama’s presidency possibly help them?

Leat them go ahead and do it.
Let them start to put it in place.
Be ready to monitor just what it is, and then analyze it.
Form a Committee that speaks out THEN and illuminates the
authoritarian thinking behind it. Point out how corrupt it has already become and how easily it can, could, or already has started morphing into a dangerously lawless thing with “no controlling legal authority” except to mete out punishment and intimidation on behalf of The One.
If you can do that, their days are numbered.
Even with Oprah.
