Former “tinfoil” has started becoming reality at such a pace in this very strange year, 2008, that I’m having an increasingly difficult time dismissing anything out of hand anymore. The time has come and passed, for this to have been an elaborate “gotcha” upon his political opposition. Obama can lay this to rest today, if he wants to. He hasn’t, and won’t, judging from the attorneys in his employ, in at least two different lawsuits still ongoing.

I was wondering if Hawaii not being a state until 1959 would affect his mother’s status, which in turn would affect his. Obama’s birth date, as far as Obama is concerned, is August 4, 1961. There was a birth announcement in Hawaii, on August 8. Beyond that, nothing concrete. The Certificate Of Live Birth posted to one of the leftie blogs was proved not to be authentic, back in June by one of our own, a FReeper, not sure of his or her screen name ... Polarik? I’ll try to ping the s/n to see.
