Nonsense. We all have standing. We have standing when someone breaks the rules of election law.

Candidates have been sued for not living in their districts, for taking illegal contributions. The dems sued to keep DeLay ON the Texas ballot. Dino Rossi was sued for supposed campaign law violations. Many, many lawsuits have been filed and decided regarding voter fraud.

If not being eligible is fraud, which it is, we all have standing.

In all those elections there are NO electors other than the voters. This is completely different from the presidential elections which are actually TWO elections: first to elect electors and second for the electors to elect the president.

This is why I am saying people simply do not understand the constitutional process. Electors elected in the first election are NOT bound to vote for ANY candidate so they would have to face the issue if he were unqualified but not until they are to vote.

Nor is there anything saying unqualified candidates cannot run or even win just that he cannot assume office legally if unqualified.
