I am writing to you from abroad. I have decided to blog for the Americans, because I see now an imminent danger hanging over America - and the rest of the world as well, because the United States is now by far the strongest Power in the world. In 1933 a man called Adolf Hitler had seized power in Germany. He had promised “The Change”. He lived up to his promise - very easily in fact even thou the German bureaucracy, formed in the Era of the Empire, was unwilling to cooperate. He managed to do this because he jumped to the opportunity. It was the fire in Reichstag. The fire in the German Parliament had been put by a mentally insane man, but thanks to that act, Adolf Hitler got the special provisions. It was enough.
On 9-11 you had had your fire in Reichstag. The problem now as I see it is the special provisions known as the Patriot Act - clearly an anti-American piece of legislation that is already in operation. The Department of Homeland Security, with their rights greater than that of the Bolshevik Cherezvychayka or Gestapo, already exists. The Republicans, even neo-cons, were making relatively mild use of these provisions and possibilities. The men surrounding Mr. Obama may have less mental reservations as Leftists Liberals usually do not have them. And it is evident that the United States bureaucracy is very willing to support Mr. Barack Hussein Obama as he has gotten 92% of the votes in the DC.
So you have now only 70 days to get rid of the Patriot Act and to dissolve the Department of Homeland Security, returning to the happy pre 9-11 days. Democrats were generally against Patriot Act, let to keep them to their words. The Republicans should say, “We acknowledge our mistake. You Democrats were right! Let’s together revoke the Patriot Act!” Perhaps you will manage to do it in 70 days. If not, I would not bet for the future of America. You can contain the man but you can not contain the bureaucracy, which is usually straining its legal entitlements to the very end... ...and sometimes beyond it.
Remember, it is 70 days.

Thanks for verifying my opinions as the comparison of Obama to Hitler has angered MANY a Democrat or Moderate.
So I was considering changing my tagline, but I’ll keep it a bit longer.

That statistic about DC does nothing to support your case. DC has just 3 electoral votes out of 538. Their votes in no way reflect the entire country. Also, DC is incredibly liberal and ALWAYS supports the Dem candidate with about 90% of the voters. You would have been much better off to reference the 365 electoral votes Obama got compared to McCain’s 173.

You have no idea what you’re writing about. First, the District of Columbia (DC) is NOT a state. Second, yes, it definitely has only 3 electoral votes. Third, very few bureaucrats actually live in DC. Most live in the affluent neighborhoods of Maryland and Virginia.
Do some research before you post nonsense like this.

Here is a partial list of gifted orators with no substance who promised change: Vladimir Lenin; Adolph Hitler; Mao Zedong; Fidal Castro; Hugo Chavez; Ayotollah Khomeini.
Those messianic orators cost roughly 150 million lives not to mention, devasted countries some still not recovered.

Also, I’m not an American, so I might be not aware of everything going on in the US. So, if I give you an opportunity to reveal your I guess wide knowledge, don’t be upset!
If gold is not available, consider silver.
Even though silver has been demonetized in this country, it still has value, and as bullion, it may be retailed in relatively small quantities. Gold, because of its rather high intrinsic value per unit of weight, whould have to be cut very fine for any number of transactions.
Maybe we should consider keeping chickens or goats for barter purposes. Or in a pinch, food supplies.
Freedom and prosperity, however precious, are reaching the point of becoming unaffordable luxuries for the foreseeable future.

I don’t know about all of this, but if I was BO I would swing for the fences and not play small ball with the adoring fans. Why do anything incremental? The media and the ignorant who voted for BO will go along for the ride. The former are too endeared to the ruler and the latter wouldn’t understand the notion of state compulsion and socialism anyway and don’t care because the man is black.
Don’t be distracted by these negative comments. Your basic idea has merit, and should be given serious thought.
