I am pretty sure the Chief Justice of the Arizona went to law school, but it is just an assumption on my part. There certainly isn't much evidence of that in this silly ruling.
Arizonas Supreme Court chief justice has agreed to enforce the Hispanic Bar Associations demands of banning the terms illegal and aliens in all of the states courtrooms.Claiming that the terms are inflammatory, the president of Arizonas Hispanic Bar Association, (known as Los Abogados) has asked state Supreme Court Chief Justice Ruth McGregor to stop using them at trials or hearings because they create perceptions of judicial bias.
In a strongly worded letter to the chief justice, Los Abogados president says attaching an illegal status to a person establishes a brand of contemptibility, creates the appearance of anti-immigrant prejudice and tarnishes the image of courts as a place where disputes may be fairly resolved.
It further points out that no human being is illegal and that a national Hispanic journalism association has roundly criticized the reference for dehumanizing a segment of the population. The letter goes on to criticize the states High Court for using the term illegals in at least two opinions and the term illegal aliens in dozens of others.
Fortunately the Hispanic Bar Association was helpful in providing a politically-correct speech code for court proceedings.

Arizonas Hispanic Bar Association, (known as Los Abogados/ correction — Las Albondigas). There I feel better.
Too bad about the univited usurpers’ bad feelings, too.
Free speech - not in our courtrooms.
Now pay your taxes, we need a raise...
Embarrassment from my home state.
what do we call them? boss?
Quidado Arizona!!!!
rapists,
thieves,
pedophiles,
There are reports of additional political interest groups submitting their own speech codes to avoid the appearance of judicial bias and intolerance. Child molesters will be referred to as Lovers of Kids; Drug Dealers will become Progressive Pharmacists; and Thieves, who view that particular label as casting them in an extremely negative light, will hereafter be referred to as Redistributors of the Wealth.
May have one of those mail order licenses, sort of like a mail order preacher, like Jessie Jackson.
When I went to vote on the judges I looked them up on a Republican internet site that gave me some background on them.
http://azjudgesreview.blogspot.com/
Quite a few of them are liberals, and have consistently voted liberal.
Quite a few of them are appointed by Janet Napolitano and are Democrats.
Yet all of the judges were re-appointed, which tells me not a lot of people looked them up to see who and what they are. They evidently just checked down the list, ‘yes’ ‘yes’ ‘yes’.
The newspapers out here are very biased, big surprise, to the left. No one covers the judges, I never understand why, these guys pass the laws!
What shall we call them?
Criminals?
Tax sponges?
Undocumented nice people?
Law breakers?
Poor innocent defendants?
Brown people not here legally?
Undocumented less than legal immigrants?
Hard working almost legal immigrants?
Soon to be citizens?
Preferred undocumented immigrants?
Hmmmmm...what to call them? Ok, how about wetbacks?
Undocumented Americans will do the trick I think.
I prefer the term, Foreign Criminals.
Had at least one trial here in Nebraska where the prosecution and victim were not allowed to use the word “rape” due to it might prejudice the jury against the defendant (rapist). So yes, it is happening....
So don’t call them “illegal aliens” and refer to them as a resident of another Country prohibited by Federal Laws from enter the United States of America unless he has the necessary documents.
Person owing allegiance to another Country prohibited by Federal Laws from entering the United States of America unless he produces the necessary documents.
Unnaturalized foreign resident prohibited by Federal Laws from entering the United States of America without first providing the necessary documents.
Just check the Thesaurus and the Dictionary and use a better descriptive adjective and noun.
What are the Judges going to do? Ban all the words in Miriam-Websters because they can be used to describe persons who have crossed the USofA border without benefit of Passport or permission documents?
I think we’re supposed to call them “My friends”.
If judges refuse to uphold this, what can be done to them?
