Whining? Why No! We’re Just Being More Patriotic than You.

Some on the Left are calling us "whiners" and crybabies because we are not celebrating the coming of "The One We Have Been Waiting For."

Some on the Right are congratulating Mr. Obama; one even called him “good.” It seems that they have not learned the lessons of the past.

Keeping in mind that dissent is the highest form of patriotism; we see no reason why we can’t be in the vanguard of dissent. In fact, are we not much more patriotic than the supporters of The One who has just been elected "The Man?"

Why yes!

With that in mind, and with an eye to history, let us remind ourselves what we have in Mr. Obama.

• A charismatic leader who inspired huge audiences with his rhetoric in Berlin.

Dissent may be patriotic to those on the Right, but those on the Left are ruling again ... dissent will be dealt with harshly - remember Clinton using the IRS to harass Conservatives? ... using the Secret Service to arrest hecklers?
Now recall that Obama wants to "create a civilian security force comparable to the military" This Gestapo will supress all dissent from the Right.
Obama has already shown that he will not tolerate even political ads he finds disagreable.

I am waiting for the official reaction the first time someone burns a Kenyan flag in protest.

We don’t owe Obamanation diddly squat. They have at all junctures sabotaged conservative initiatives, they are by definition “without honor”.

We need to at every step hasten the collapse of the Utopia we have been prescribed. Overt, covert - whatever it takes. They are out for our money, our free speech, our guns, our children. When faced with that, opposition is obvious.

Whining? Is that the same as FIGHTING YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY?

You can tax us to death. You can steal our hard earned property and savings.

But, you can’t take away our FREEDOM!!

Shame you didn't feel this way on Nov 4. Marxism was a better option for you then.

Ne’er forget to use that little [/sarc] or [/s] after your sarcastic posts. It helps those of us who are literalists.

Let's face it, the dems/libs beat us on so many fronts it's embarassing:

Use of the internet for organizing and fundraising. Howard Dean got the last laugh.

Control of the media.

Locking in key dem/lib players very early on that froze out the Clinton's and their threat of crossovers.

Getting those groups that feel disenfranchised to actually go vote.

Superior event organizing and advertising.

Most of all, crafting the sales pitch and staying on message. Biden was a mistake that they never got tagged with, their themes were so strong.

Lastly, great luck. I have been tracking every major poll in PA for months. Obama was losing until the bail-out. McCain fumbled it badly but still recovered and was beating Obama badly in all the polls but ran out of time and gas.

There was a remarkable complete change of poll direction favoring Obama on the last two days.

McCain really was so close and was tracking to win but the critical last two days of the campaign, he went flat and couldn't close the deal.

Really, this campaign was much less about ideology than it was about management, articulation and missed opportunities.

Again, beliefs are irrelevant if you don't win. McCain never had a campaign staff that assumed they would win and acted accordingly.

The first campaign strategy meeting should have described: "When we beat Obama it will be because of: a, b, c, d, e, f ........"

Instead we have these political autopsies.

Sarcasm tags weren’t intended. I was simply making a statement to wolfcreek that if he didn’t want Marxism, he should have voted R in the general.

McCain was not my candidate either, but he was a darned sight better than voting for Obama, which a vote for any candidate other than McCain was.

You do see where I live. If I were in a battleground state, I would have voted for McCain eventhough, I swore I wouldn’t. I voted for the entire undercard (including Sen. Cornyn) and left the president slot blank.

Who the hell are you to be keeping score anyway? Making a bad Republican list?

Nope. Not keeping a list. I simply remember you and a few others repeatedly saying you would not vote for McCain. It was people such as yourself that got us Obama. I’m not the stupid one. ;)

You may not be stupid but, you're definitely confused.

My state (Texas) voted for McCain. It wasn't necessary for me to vote for president.

Here are some names and organizations for your list.

GW Bush

Sen. J. S. McCain

GOP

RNC

Anyone of McCain's handlers
