Red star?

Different languages?

Well, yeah, but it was more of a rhetorical question. ;)

I don't know Chinese, but from the Langenscheidt's Pocket Dictionary: Chinese-English, English-Chinese the Chinese characters seem to mean "I," "already" and "vote"--a straightforward translation of the Spanish. Too bad they don't say "Ask me about Bill Ayers."

The story is that in the 1960 election campaign, Nixon visited Chinatown in San Francisco, and Democratic trickster Dick Tuck arranged to have signs in Chinese that read "What about the Hughes loan?" (which Nixon of course couldn't read).

It does seem outrageous to have a button with those three languages, dissing speakers of Vietnamese or Tagalog, just to name a couple of examples.
